Tierra Group overcame the remote location and kept a dedicated team on-site throughout the 2-year mine development. Tierra Group assisted Fekola Mine expansion planning by completing a tailings siting study for a new 40-million-tonne TSF. Flat terrain and a dynamic mine plan presented unique challenges for cost minimization while maximizing TSF storage capacity.
