Tierra Group realiza una visita inicial a la mina Palmarejo de Couer Mining para llevar a cabo inspecciones de seguridad de la presa del depósito de relaves, presa de control ambiental, presa de desviación de agua y canal de desviación de agua. Antes de la visita al sitio, Tierra Group revisó el diseño, construcción y operacionales documentos incluyendo el manual de Operación, Mantenimiento y Vigilancia (OMS por sus siglas en ingles), y Preparación para Casos de Emergencia/Plan de acción. Tierra Group presentó un informe resumiendo sus conclusiones y ofreció recomendaciones para mejorar las Buenas Prácticas de Gestión. Tierra Group también proveo un camino recomendado a seguir para la implementación de una Estrategia de Gestión de Relaves (TSS por sus siglas en inglés) corporativa en Palmarejo y otras minas de Couer.
